How do you make liquid soap?
Another major difference with liquid soap is that that it is a "hot process" soap - instead of relying on the heat generated by the saponification process, heat is added using a crock pot. You also have to use Potassium Hydroxide instead of the Sodium Hydroxide you use for solid soaps. After cooking for several hours the liquid soap paste is diluted with water and can then be fragranced and finished.
