Your soap stings my eyes!
Our eyes' natural defense mechanism against foreign materials is tears.Soap is an alkaline substance and very much a foreign material. When it enters the eyes, our eyes' reflex is to tear so the foreign substance can be washed out. Products that promise tearless experience are normally formulated with a pH close to water, hence the eyes won't tear to reject them. Our soaps have a PH between 8 and 9.5 and therefore can cause stinging in your eyes.
